Project description

The “NeRFx3D” project aims to revolutionize industrial VR training by integrating Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) technology with traditional 3D content generation methods. The research partners collaborate to create highly realistic and interactive 3D environments. Key objectives include developing interfaces for seamless NeRF to mesh conversion, optimizing real-time VR simulation environments, and ensuring efficient performance on VR hardware. The project will enhance the creation of immersive training scenarios by automating the capture and modeling of detailed real-world environments using simple devices like smartphones. This will make high-quality 3D content more accessible and practical for industrial applications, significantly improving training efficiency and realism.
