Multimodal virtual assistants for context-sensitive tasks

Combined use of AI and spatial computing for experience-based e-commerce

Visualization of an AR-based AI assistance for the purchase of furniture in e-commerce

Project description

The project focuses on the reciprocal use and further development of generative AI and spatial computing for the implementation of multimodal and context-sensitive AI assistance functions in virtual and mixed realities. The central question here is how the combined use of both areas of technology can improve the experience and added value of sales processes.

Further questions need to be clarified within the research process: How can AI systems based on spatial computing obtain multimodal contextual information in the context of e-commerce scenarios? How can AI systems be used to generate personalized suggestion systems based on user information? How can context-aware AI systems support users in online shopping processes in a meaningful way?

In addition to opening up potential areas for the use of combined AI and spatial computing solutions, the project also aims to improve the subsequent usability of corresponding solutions in the context of product and service offerings.
