AI learning assistant for university education (KI-Tutor)

The project is developing an innovative platform that uses Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT 4 to create customized AI learning assistants. These assistants are additionally visualized by digital avatars, enabling a more natural interaction that can potentially significantly improve the learning experience.

The platform will enable university teachers to customize AI assistants by feeding them with specific knowledge from their teaching materials and research. These personalized assistants are to be made accessible via a user-friendly web interface that provides students with direct and intuitive access to the support they need. It is also a major effort to create compatibility and interfaces with established platforms such as Moodle or OPAL in order to offer the lowest possible barrier to entry.
